2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog. What a year it was – thanks to all the readers, followers and commenters.. if you thought 2014 was fun.. all the indications are in the Armitage Household that 2015 is going to be one HECK of a year.. I hope you can stick with me… Happy New Year

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 670 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 11 trips to carry that many people.

So that was 2014…

What a year. I’m a year further on in my gluten-free journey. My daughter was confirmed with coeliacs too so she has just started her journey. I discovered I will be a grandfather a couple of weeks ago (next July). I also decided a couple of weeks ago to take an opportunity offered by my employer to leave – it was too good an offer to ignore. So, as we end this year with gloomy tidings (planes lost with all passengers, ferry fires, the list goes on) I realise I have lot to look forward to. An opportunity to do something different. A new member of the family. The option to do whatever I please. Oh and I plan finally to learn to ride a motorbike!
I wish you peace, health and happiness as we head into the new year.

Sunrise always makes me smile..

Well when I can see it. Nothing this morning but misty murk.. but.. over the last few days, we have seen some SPECTACULAR sunrises… here’s one from a couple of weeks ago…

Apologies for the wacky angle… but it was the only way I could capture it all… hum ho. Anyway, then a couple of days ago, I was up early (as usual) to make a cuppa, happened to open the curtains to THIS… flecks of gold in a pale sky… just amazing.

Hope you enjoyed – thanks for reading….
