Another From Scotland - A Panorama of Ullapool, Western Highlands, Scotland.

For this shot, I climbed up the hill at the back of Ullapool, this shot is toward the SouthWest. Fantastic view of Loch Broom and if you look Northwest you can see out to the Islands that are served by the Stornoway Ferry. Moments after I took this the heavens opened (well it was Scotland!).

  1. Ah, don’t you just love Scotland (and the rain!). I keep meaning to go back up to Ullapool, it’s several years since I was last there.

    • Scotland was beautiful, WET, but beautiful. We actually did a circular tour over 2 weeks, covering Edinburgh, The Spittal of Glennshie, Inverness, Ullapool, The Isle of Skye, Oban then finally Dumfries, where we were the witnesses at some friends wedding at Gretna Green, all in all a great couple of weeks…

      • That’s some tour! I’ve always said that one day I would like to hire one of those vintage camper vans, and set off and tour the whole of Scotland, stopping wherever I felt like it. And when that was done, England and Wales, then France and Italy! Ah maybe one day!
